4th Annual Dan Makris Holiday Outdoor Decorating Contest

Lighter Side of Christmas Season and the Woodland Park Wind Symphony present the 2023 Dan Makris Holiday Outdoor Decorating Contest in honor of Dan Makris, longtime teacher, resident and champion outdoor holiday yard decorator.

There are two categories:  homes can be entered as “individual” or as a “neighborhood.”  A neighborhood needs to consist of at least 4 homes in a cul-de-sac, subdivision or street.

Entries will be posted the week of Dec. 4th.  The judges will be driving by the homes the evenings of Dec. 4-10 

The winners will be announced on Dec. 11 during the Woodland Park Wind Symphony 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm concerts in the Ute Pass Cultural Center.  Reservations are required for these concerts. 

The Braggin’ Rights winners will be posted the week of Dec. 11.
